      How can I create a custom category?

      Put your products in their own custom categories! Create a staff favorites, or sale!

       1: Create the Tags

      • Login into Fitted, visit your “Settings” page, and you’ll notice the option for “Shop Tags.”
      • Name your tag - (EX: Sale) 
      • If you want to choose the slug - go ahead! If you click "create tag" without creating a slug, it will pull in the name of your tag. (Slug is what your URL will show)

      2: Assign the Tags

      • From the product table, view variations for that item, and you’ll see a new tab called “Tags.” Assign one or more tags to any product!

       3:  Go Live!

      • A new filter section called “Team Picks” has been rolled out to all sites as the default place for your new tags to live. This label can be changed to anything you’d like, so reach out to customer support for any customization. These tags are now discoverable by your customers!
      • A tag will only populate this section if it has been assigned to one or more products.
      • Finally, to market these pages directly, a new query parameter has been added to our links. Simply add “?fctag=<insert the tag slug>” to your domain and you’ll have a direct link to the page.
