Managing product prices on your store
You can manage prices for all of your products on Fitted. There are a couple of key terms that you should understand first.
Price Policy & Price Control
Price Policy:
"MAP" vs. "Off MAP"
If the price policy is set to "MAP" then think about this as a price floor. Even if you do switch the price control to custom and try to set your own price, you won't be able to set a price below the current MAP price
If the price policy is set to "Off MAP" it means you have full control to set the price of that product.
Price Control:
"Follow MAP" vs. "Custom"
If price control is set to "Follow MAP," the price of the product will follow the MAP price as it fluctuates automatically. For example, if this product falls to $115 from the manufacture, the price on your store would also reflect this change.
If price is set to "Custom," regardless of whether the price policy is MAP or Off MAP, this is the price the product will remain at on your store.
Custom Products
If you've added custom products to your store, these will automatically be set to "Off MAP" so you can easily set the price up or down whenever you'd like.
